Which customers are eligible to Expert Link?

ESSENTIAL:

  • Field Reps can use the Essential solution with any customers: civil/military/SFO operators, CMCs, network…Faster decision process
  • Pre-requisites to use Essential:

– Field Rep need to have a licence + app installed on PC or smartphone + good internet connection (LAN, 4G, wifi)

– Customers need a mobile device + install app + good internet connection (4G, wifi)

PREMIUM:

  • Pre-requisites to use Premium:

– Field Reps need to have a licence + app installed on PC or smartphone + make sure they have optimal internet connection on their PC for scheduled call (LAN, wifi)

– Customers need smart glasses or borescope hub for optimal hands-free support + app installed and tested + good internet connection (4G, wifi)

The borescope hub costs $7570$ and can be bought directly to Librestream

DOES SAFRAN SELL HARDWARES?

No, Safran lets customers choose their own glasses from the above list

Premium vs free Field Rep and Service Engineer Expertise
  • Premium Expert link provides the customer with hands-free support on scheduled tasks (on top of unscheduled visual assistance)
  • Customers can benefit from over-the-shoulder guidance when conducting SB or borescope inspection
  • Useful for new workers to benefit from Safran experts best practices and record pictures with expert advice for future training
  • Premium customers can also use Expert link internally (from 2 Premium subscriptions), to exchange on video, securely on different sites
Can Essential be used to help on a borescopic inspection?

Customer guidance when conducting a borescope inspection or scheduled tasks/SB requires time and is included only in the Premium solution. The customer can contact his CSM for more information on Premium added-value.

Is the customer data secure?
  • Yes, customer data (audio, images, video) exchanged with FRep/SE using Expert link can not be accessed by anybody else, not even Librestream
  • Personal data (name, company, tel number, email, GPS and time) is stored by SafranHE and Librestream, but only for internal statistics purposes
